Our tariffsHow it works
nextbike by TIER Limerick offers pedal bikes as well as e-bikes. The operation of the two types differs.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from a station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

Scan QR code with nextbike by TIER app. Pull the lock out from the right side of the rear wheel and place it in the holder on top of the rear wheel.
PAUSE RIDE
Select 'Park bike' and close the lock. Your trip is still running.
RETURN
Return the ebike at a station. Take the cable from the holder above the wheel and put it into the opening in the back wheel. Select 'Return bike' in the app.

Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes at the same time with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. You can change the tariff in your account settings.
Pedal Bike
€1 + €0.02/min
Unlock your bike for €1 and pay €0.02 for every minute.
Example: a 10 minute ride will be charged at €1.20.
E-Bike
€1 + €0.20/min
Unlock your bike for €1 and pay €0.20 for every minute.
Example: a 10 minute ride will be charged at €3.
E-Bike
€4.99 / month
Unlimited unlocks for e-bikes.
Pay €0.20 per minute.
